Assists stakeholders before and during their SEZ application process to receive the necessary permits and approvals to ensure compliance is achieved.
Carried out through our partnerships with Government bodies such as (JCA & TAJ to ensure due diligence and NEPA to receive environmental permits). Now the plan is to have more partners on board to ensure most if not all SEZ required services are provided through a single platform in and effective and efficient manner.
A list of our current partners are:
- Passport, Immigration and Citizen Agency (PICA) – to ensure the movement of investors of different nationalities
- National Land Agency (NLA) – to assist with identification of government lands to enable development through the SEZ Regime
- Kingston & St. Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAMC) – to have the requisite approvals available for building and occupancy
- Jamaica Fire Brigade (JFB) – to ensure buildings are certified and inspected promptly for approvals and permits
- Bureau of Standards Jamaica (BSJ) – who we have identified as a partner to assist with increasing the value of SEZ’s
