The Business Acceleration Centre was established by law (SEZ Regulations 2017, Section 5) to ensure potential and existing SEZ stakeholders experience minimal delays in processing applications, approvals, permits, etc., that will impact the entity’s ability to establish or operate an SEZ entity.
To fulfil this mandate, the BAC is responsible for forming partnerships with private and public sector companies through the signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). These MOUs and SLAs will establish standard operating procedures and protocols for information sharing, due diligence, investigating, monitoring, and general cooperation to ensure the harnessing of business interests, growth of existing SEZs and seamless continuity of business operation across the regime.
Through its comprehensive services, strong partnerships, and commitment to individualized support, the BAC plays a vital role in facilitating the establishment, growth, and success of companies operating within the SEZ regime’s dynamic business environment.
