Information Communication and technology (ICT) is the infrastructure and components that enable modern computing and is an essential component in Jamaica’s drive for industrialization and sustainable development in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The ICT Sector has strong linkages with a number of other sectors including education, governance, science, technology and innovation and the cultural/creative industries. Jamaica’s Special Economic Zone regime is well positioned to welcome investments in ICT components manufacturing and analytics that enable the internet (the Internet of Things (IoT)), wireless networks, cell phones, and other communication media.
