Vikram Dhiman is the Chief Operating Officer of ICD Group Holdings Limited, a Jamaican-based Investment Holding Company with regional and global interests in Real Estate, Construction, Property Management, General Insurance, Insurance Broking, Business Process Outsourcing And E-Commerce businesses.
Mr. Dhiman began his career with KPMG in Jamaica and worked with them in India and the Netherlands. Between 1998-2000, he worked with the United Nations Compensation Commission, in Geneva, as a valuation specialist for determination of the Claims arising from the 1990 Gulf War. After his MBA at INSEAD he worked at Marakon Associates, a strategy consulting firm, at their London Office, advising several FTSE 100 and 500 firms. He joined the ICD Group in 2004, and has been instrumental in acquisitions, mergers, divestment and shaping and growing the businesses of the group, its subsidiaries and affiliates since then. He is responsible for creating and managing change, developing leadership teams and capabilities across all the companies that he works with. He is also responsible for managing and overseeing the financial, treasury and accounting functions across the Group.
Mr. Dhiman serves on several private and public sector boards. He currently serves as the Chairman of British Caribbean Insurance Co. Limited (Jamaica’s largest insurance co.) and WIHCON Properties Limited, and is a director of Advantage Communications Inc. (Canada), ADV Communications Jamaica Limited, Social Media Group LLC (Puerto Rico), West Indies Home Contractors Limited, ICD Group Holdings Limited, and the University Hospital of the West Indies (Private Wing) as the Chairman of its Management Committee. He serves as the Honorary Treasurer of the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica (PSOJ) since 2016, the umbrella private sector body that seeks to influence national policy issues of a political, social, or economic nature. He is also the PSOJ’s representative on the Special Economic Zone Authority’s Board and serves as its Deputy Chairman.
He is also the Treasurer of the Jamaica Golf Association and was the Chair of its Junior Golf Committee from 2007-17. He has raised over US$300,000 for the development and growth of Junior Golf in Jamaica.
Mr. Dhiman attained a First Class Bachelors degree in Mathematics from Christ Church College (1987), Kanpur India; is a past member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Fellow Member (Not in Practice) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica and has passed the CPA examination of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; and holds an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France (2000). Mr. Dhiman is married to Aditi and they have two sons Karan (17) and Aman (12).
