GUIDELINES FOR THE COMPLETION OF THE DATA CAPTURE FORM FOR THE RELOCATION OF AN ESTABLISHED ZONE  
  1. Provide date of application
  2. State the name of the Special Economic Zone i.e. provide the name of the existing Zone as per registration under the Free Zone Legislation or SEZ Act
  3. State the control number for the Special Economic Zone that was provided to the applicant on the Operating Certificate.
  4. Provide the Developer’s company name and address
  5. State the name and address of the Authorised Representative
    1. The Authorised Representative is the main contact person who the applicants’ Board of Directors has authorised to complete the filing of this application and who will represent the company
  6. Indicate the type of Special Economic Zone the applicant is seeking to register with the Authority.
    1. Single-Entity SEZ means a SEZ established pursuant to Section 17 of the Act wherein the development, operation, maintenance, promotion, and all Authorized SEZ Activities are carried out by the designated SEZ Developer that also acts as the sole SEZ Occupant in the SEZ,
    2. Multi-Purpose SEZ means a SEZ established to accommodate at least three (3) Occupants with designated Zone User Area,
    3. Multi-Purpose Integrated SEZ means a SEZ established to accommodate at least three (3) Occupants as well as integrates the areas for Zone Users, businesses and residential units
    4. Specialised SEZ means a SEZ that is established for the purpose of a specific industry/cluster and may require being a Single-Entity operation
  7. Provide a brief description of the current activities being conducted within the SEZ
  8. Provide a brief description of the Relocation plans for the SEZ designated area
  9. Provide the street address of the proposed Relocation area
  10. State whether the applicant will be using an existing building/s and/or surrounding area for business operations - applicant should indicate whether or not they have leased an entire building or floor/s. A detailed Surveyor’s Technical Description will be required to provide a full description of the area.
  11. Indicate the land measurement of the existing SEZ (in hectares). State the total hectares that the SEZ project will cover to include buffer zones, green areas, SEZ Customs Control Areas, Residents, Zone Users, Food and Beverage areas etc.
  12. Indicate the additional land measure proposed for the Relocation of the SEZ Area
  13. State whether the land area for the proposed Relocation is contiguous to the existing SEZ
  14. State the new total land measure for the SEZ Area after the build-out of the proposed Relocation
  15. State whether the Developer will be required to relocate any population in order to expand the SEZ Area
  16. If construction is required, state the proposed date the Developer proposes to start the construction of the additional area of the SEZ or when will the Develop occupy the additional location, if Single-Entity/Specialised Zone
  17. How long does the Developer estimate for the construction of the additional area/s.
  18. State the type of security measures that will be implemented during the construction period that will mitigate any negative impact on security, physical environmental, safety etc.
  19. Provide an estimated incremental increase in jobs that the proposed Relocation is likely to generate over the three (3) year period that follows the completion of the project.
